We adapt our service offering to the unique needs of our clients across a range of industries. We also offer unbundled search services such as research, candidate development, assessment, candidate pipeline and reference checks. Diversity is an important focus.
In addition to the executive search practice, Miller Black Associates also has an executive coaching practice following the process and approach of the Columbia University Coaching Program. Specialties include career transition, on-boarding, new in role, high potential development, and performance coaching.
Miller Black Associates was founded in 2010 by Joanna Miller in order to assist clients in their talent acquisition and development needs by offering flexible, fast, and cost-effective search and coaching services, without compromising the quality and professionalism offered by the top global firms.
The firm’s strategy is to limit the number of client engagements underway at any one time, enabling us to offer highly customized, hands on client service, and the ability to complete searches in a compressed timeframe, typically 6 to 8 weeks assuming client availability for interviews and other factors. Coaching engagements are also limited in number, so we can be available to coaching clients as their schedules and requirements dictate.
Joanna Miller has over 25 years of executive search experience with top tier global search firms and a high quality medium sized boutique search firm. She is affiliated with a number of independent researchers, who are selected for each engagement based on industry and functional specialties.
